Gray Guardian Armor. Dragon Age - armor, armor mods

Before Lost-Vegas 214 miles / This is us - sawdust...

Armored bras, armored pants and magical thongs - no immediately) I don’t even test them.
Yes, I’m not yet testing what is added through the console.
Attention!! Before installing mods, read this post. I'm serious.

1) Kits :
Assassin's Set Set for the Rogue. Comes by itself, on the previous owner)
Wings of Velvet and Green Sonata Stylish and suitable set for a magician - clothes, staff, accessories. They appear in the inventory or in the camp, at the merchant Bodan, depending on which version you install.
Phoenix Arsenal A beautiful set for girls of any race. Three types of armor (easy option um... very easy), blades, bows. Blades and bows for everyone). They appear - some from the Quartermaster in Ostagar, some in the chest, the key to which is given by the deserter, and also from Bodan/Uriah (from the Awakening).
Set of Daughters of Mythal
Bow and armor, armor only for girls (any race), bow for everyone. Despite some eye-catching colors, unexpectedly good things. Once connected, the kit will appear in your inventory.
http://modgames.net/load/75-1-0-911 Armor for a male elf, bow for everyone. Brother of the previous mod, but less eye-popping.
Installation. The archive contains 2 folders "Armor" and "Bow".
a) "Bow". The Scorching_Wrath_Of_Elgarnan_1_03-812 file will add the bow to the inventory, the Scorching_Wrath_Of_Elgarnan_1_03-812_vendor file will add the bow to Bodan’s store.
b) In the “Armor” folder there are 3 additional folders, according to the color of the armor, select the desired color and put one of the files, the usual one will add the armor to the inventory, the one that is “vendor” - to Bodan.
Runic Armor of the Gray Wardens An interesting set for a warrior. Three shields, armor, a two-handed sword, three long swords.
The archive contains two files: one for Awakening, the other for the main campaign. Both should be installed, even if you only play Awakening. One file is enough for the main campaign.
Armor and Blades of the Blood Angel A set for a warrior/battle mage, catchy, pretentious and somewhat cheating, but many people like it. Once connected, the kit will appear in your inventory.
Shadow Assassin Set Attractive dark armor, a little in the style of Assassin's Creed (alas, only for people, men and women), four daggers. There are two options for adding a set. The "Armor of Assasin" file will add the set to the inventory, "Armor of Assasin" vendor" will add it to Bodan's store.
Weapon set "Glory to the Griffin" (very large set) There is: a shield, a helmet, an axe, a sword, a one-handed hammer, a two-handed sword, a two-handed hammer, two daggers, paired hatchets, two bows and a staff. The stats are normal. Appearance... specific. I saw reactions ranging from “ewww” to “wow”, so look at the screenshots and think (personally, I really like the shield and daggers, just for the look) There are two options for adding a kit. The "Glory of Griffon" file will add the kit to your inventory, the "Glory of Griffon vendor" file will add it to Bodan's store.
Morozik75 generally has very high quality mods. And very frequently updated)

2) Personalized kits
Song of the Rose. A very beautiful and suitable set for Leliana (everything is included, accessories, armor, a bow, a couple of daggers). Once connected, the kit will appear in your inventory.
Stan's Helmet A pair of swords, a shield and a very specific helmet for Stan. In principle, anyone can use a one-handed weapon and a shield. There are two options for adding. The file "Stens Helmet 1.2" will add items to the inventory, "Stens Helmet vendor 1.2" will add items to Bodan's store.
Stan's Armor This is included with the Helmet. Appear in a chest in the Church of Lothering.

3) Only armor.

Dragon Age: Origins has a fairly extensive array of weapons and armor. Among ordinary swords you can find unique ones, and among simple armor sets that ultimately give good bonuses. Hotel items themselves have their own features, but we'll talk about the bonus for everything together and where you can find it.

Dragon age: Origins light armor:

— Dalish leather armor. You can find it in the Dalish camp by purchasing it from Varathorn. By putting the set together you will receive +5 to defense;.
— Patchwork leather armor. The entire set is sold in Orzammar by two merchants - Legnar and Alimar. When fully assembled, you get +5 to armor;
— A set of leather armor. It can drop randomly anywhere and is sold by many merchants in the game. Gives you -5 to fatigue;
— Studded leather armor. They also drop out in any location in the game or can be bought from merchants. Add +1 to defense. In addition, you can buy it in a special coloring;
— Wade's dragon skin armor. Made by Master Wade on a quest if you bring him dragon scales. Can give you -10 fatigue;
- Wade's superb dragon skin armor. Can be obtained if you bring additional dragon scales when completing the above quest.

Now let's see what we can find from medium-heavy armor:

— Chain armor. The complete set can be found anywhere in the world or purchased from merchants. Of the bonuses, it gives you -2.5% to fatigue;
- Scale armor. You can find it or buy it in parts. Owen has the complete set in Redcliffe. Provides a 4.5 bonus to reflecting ranged attacks;
— Plate armor. In addition to the fact that they can be found in the world or bought in pieces, they can also be purchased from the Quartermaster at Ostagar or by visiting Wade in Denerim. Adds a total of +1 to armor;
- Dwarven armor. Armor can be picked up in the locations of Orzammar and deep paths, or bought from Gorim in the districts of Denerim. Here, too, +1 armor;
- Ancient elven. You can pick up parts in Lothering, the Brecilian Forest and the ruined temple. In a compartment they give +5 to the protection indicator;
— Wade's dragon scale armor. Everything is not so simple here - if you pay Wade at least once for work on the armor, you will receive some armor, if you don’t pay, you will receive others, if you bring more scales, you will receive third ones. Some give -25% to fatigue, others also give 5 defense, and others -10% to fatigue and the same amount to defense.

Dragon age: Origins heavy armor:

- Armor of zeal. Purchased from Owen in Redcliffe and also collected at the Ruined Temple and Orzammar Guardians locations. The full set gives +5 to willpower;
— Ceremonial armor. Can be purchased from cultists in Lake Calenhad. Will give you a +6 chance to repel attacks at a distance;
-Heavy dwarf armor. You can find them in Denerim from Gorim, or go to Orzammar and buy them at the Janar Weaponsmiths. Will add +1 to armor;
- Heavy chain mail armor. You can find them throughout the game or buy them in parts from different merchants. There is also a chance of falling from the Bandit Leader during the quest Bandits Everywhere. The last place where you can buy it is the merchant from Soldier's Peak. Gives -3 to fatigue;
- Wade's Dragonscale Armor. You can get it if you never pay Wade for two sets and bring the scales of a high dragon. Provides a -20% bonus to fatigue;
- Wade's superior dragon scale armor. If you pay for at least one set of the first two and then bring scales from a high dragon, you will receive this set.

These are all the armor sets that you can get in D ragon Age: Origins. We also suggest that you read the article in which you will find the game.

By evening, the Guardians reached the Imperial Highway. The majestic towers of Ostagar could be seen from afar. - This fortress was built during the Tevinter Empire many centuries ago. The royal troops have already fought several battles with the creatures of darkness, but this is where the main forces of the horde will move towards us. There are few Gray Wardens in Ferelden now, but all that exist are in this fortress. If we don’t stop the Blight here, it will spread north, and then Ferelden will fall,” Duncan explained and glanced briefly at Elissa. She hardly listened and looked in fascination at the ancient fortress ahead. The once impressive Ostagar is now half turned into ruins, but still has not lost its grandeur. He had to show the wild tribes of the south the full power of the Tevinter empire, and now, many years after the fall of the old Tevinter, a war will take place here that will determine the future of Thedas. It was here that Elissa so wanted to get, although not in this way, but the solemnity of the moment made her forget about everything in the world for a moment. However, not for long. - Duncan! - a young man in golden armor and with a wide, good-natured smile came out to meet them. His golden hair was combed back, and his gray-blue eyes shone with joy. - King Kailan? - Duncan smiled in response and shook the outstretched hand. - I did not expect. - That the king himself will come out to greet you? I thought you'd miss this kind of fun. - Only as a last resort, Your Majesty. Duncan seemed genuinely pleased with the king. Elissa heard that Kaylan is a very kind and simple-minded person and is more involved in military affairs than politics and government. Which, however, is more than compensated for by his talented and prudent wife. Elissa had only seen them briefly before, when her father took her to the Landsmeet in the capital several times. - The guards said that you have found a skilled recruit. That's her? Elissa bowed her head in respect. “Your Majesty, allow me to introduce…” “No need, Duncan,” Kaylan responded softly and turned to the girl himself. - You're Bryce's daughter, aren't you? It seems we haven't been introduced to each other before. “I am Elissa, Your Majesty,” she answered without raising her eyes. “Your brother and the Highever soldiers arrived a long time ago, but your father is still missing.” We are waiting for him. Elissa shuddered. - You... won’t wait for him. He died,” her hands clenched into fists. - Dead?! - Kaylan was amazed. - Duncan, what happened?! The Guardian briefly told him about the events in Highever and their escape. The king was sincerely indignant, Elissa began to hope that the day was not far when Howe would pay for everything. Kaylan turned to her: “As soon as we deal with the creatures of darkness, I will turn the army north and bring Howe to justice.” I give my word to the king. Elissa raised her head. - And now you can’t do anything? Howe rules my house and kills people loyal to us! Elissa hoped that the king would issue an immediate decree announcing Rendon Howe's betrayal, and that all of Ferelden would turn against him as a traitor. Not all forces are concentrated here, in Ostagar, someone must protect those who remained in Highever. But the king just shook his head. “To bring him to justice, I will need an army.” Sorry, but that's all I can do right now. Unless I advise you to take out your grief on the creatures of darkness. Elissa frowned and stared at the ground. Pity and guilt appeared on the king's face. “Your Majesty, I apologize,” the Guardian looked reproachfully at Elissa. - Nothing, Duncan. You are probably tired, but I hope you still have the strength to take part in today's battle. We are almost ready, the creatures of darkness will come here at sunset. “As you wish, Your Majesty,” the Guardian bowed his head. - Fabulous! - the king became cheerful again. - We won two major battles, and the third is almost behind us. “Your Majesty, battles are not won in advance,” Duncan warned. - It’s unlikely that the Pestilence can be ended as… quickly as you would like. The king simply waved it off. - I'm not sure if this is a real Pestilence. Even the archdemon is not visible. -Are you disappointed, Your Majesty? “I dreamed that this would be a war like in the old fairy tales: “The King, shoulder to shoulder with the legendary Gray Wardens, rushed into battle with the vile god of darkness.” Well, you'll have to make do with what you have. I'm afraid I have to go. The battle will begin soon, and Loghain will probably want to fool me half to death with his tactical calculations. The king turned to leave, but Elissa called out to him: “Your Majesty!” My brother... - Oh, sorry. Unfortunately, he is not in the camp now. He went on reconnaissance into the Wild Lands. He'll be back in two or three days. You will certainly see each other later. Elissa became completely depressed, and sadness flashed across Kaylan’s face again. He said goodbye to them and went deep into the fortress. “Well, since the king wanted to see me in battle, I need to prepare.” For now, rest and... “I will fight too,” Elissa suddenly declared. - One night of sleep did not restore your strength, but you will still need it. Besides, you never allowed your wound to heal completely. - Ask! I need it! - Elissa looked hard at Duncan, a blue flame burning in her eyes that demanded a way out. Duncan hesitated a bit and nodded. - Fine. Then find another Gray Warden named Alistair. He and the other recruits are on the west side of the ruins across the bridge. He will explain everything,” Duncan took a wallet out of his bag and threw it to Elissa. - Go to the quartermaster and pick up some armor for yourself. “Ah...” the girl wanted to say that she had coins, although she wasn’t sure if they would be enough, but Duncan waved him off. - This is the order’s money, you can spend it, but hurry up. The battle is about to begin. Elissa nodded and ran towards the bridge without even asking what this Alistair guy looked like. Mabari followed her. Under the bridge lay a valley in which the first detachments of soldiers were already beginning to form. The sun had not yet touched the horizon, but it was getting dark quickly in these parts. The wind howled from below and rustled the banners so loudly that it could be heard through the bustle of the military camp. Ahead of the valley began a strip of dense forest and swamps. The enemy was supposed to advance from there. Blocking the valley, the Ostagar fortress presented an excellent defensive position. It is not surprising that the command chose her to fight the creatures of darkness. Some soldiers were already talking with enthusiasm about victory, others expressed fears that there were more and more creatures of darkness, no matter how much they were beaten. Some were outraged by rumors that the Orlesians were coming here, others argued that Loghain MacTeer would not allow this. “King Cailan should listen to Teyrn Loghain more often,” the soldiers gossiped. - After all, it was Loghain who thought through the entire strategy of the battles of his father, King Maric, against Orlais. If it weren't for Teyrn, we would still be living under the yoke of these arrogant Orlesians! Elissa knew: Loghain MacTeer, the hero of the Battle of the Dane River*, the best friend of the previous king, embodied the ideal of the Fereldans - a commoner who took up arms to defend his homeland, saved the rightful ruler and the country and received the title of teyrn as a reward. Loghain had a wide nose, a strong chin, black and gray hair and predatory, birdlike, icy eyes, under which there were now deep wrinkles and dark bags. Few people perceived him as an ordinary person; everyone saw him as a living legend and revered him. Elissa almost ran into him, looking around and making her way through the crowd of running soldiers and servants. “I beg your pardon,” she quickly bowed her head, barely noticing the coat of arms of Teirnir Gwaren, a green dragon, on the armor. - What? What's the matter? - I was distracted from the conversation with officer Loghain, who would not have paid any attention to Elissa if she had not started apologizing. - Oh, are you a recruit of the Gray Wardens? The king was delighted to meet you,” Teyrn noticed the Cousland coat of arms on her sword. - I sympathize with what happened to you. Kaylan told me about his promise. Rest assured, he will keep his word. Elissa nodded. She had never seen the Hero of the Dane River so close and did not dare to look up. Who would have thought that the daughter of Tairn Highever, surrounded by so many important people, would feel so... insignificant. Loghain looked at the girl again. She was still in her travel clothes and stained chain mail with two bags on her shoulders. - Aren't you going to battle? If you need armor, go to the quartermaster,” he said. “Yes, you won’t say...” Elissa began and stopped short, she would have asked the king for directions. “Over there,” Loghain waved to the side and continued the interrupted conversation with the officer. Fifteen minutes later, Elissa was pulling on a quilted knee-length chainmail shirt over her cotton shirt, then donning a gray cuirass, shoulder pads, and plate gloves. It was unusual. The armor was inferior in quality to her Highever armor and seemed heavy, but Elissa had been taught to be unpretentious. She decided that she would get used to it. After all, all soldiers wore similar armor, and she had no right to demand special treatment for herself, no matter who she was. “In my opinion, just right,” noted the satisfied quartermaster. - Are you comfortable? “It will do,” Elissa nodded, bending and unbending her gloved fingers, and tried to grab the new shield with them. - On the side on the inside of the cuirass there are loops for a small bag, if you need it. Elissa doubted that she would take the bag into battle, but thanked her for the information. The armor turned out to be surprisingly cheap, largely due to the fact that most of the costs had already been paid from the royal treasury. Therefore, Elissa handed the quartermaster her own money, not Duncan’s, and asked: “I’m looking for a Gray Warden named Alistair.” You do not know...? There was a splash. Not far from Elissa, a dashing soldier in leather armor was rubbing his bruised cheek, watching the departing woman. He looked like a sneak, and his small eyes seemed to be able to see everything. “Apparently that meant no,” he muttered and noticed Elissa. “Hi, my name is Davet,” he introduced himself cheerfully, approaching. “Elissa,” she answered without hesitation. Another polite habit is to always introduce yourself back. -Are you looking for something? “I know everything here,” Davet said insinuatingly. He tried to get too close, but Elissa pulled back. Chase, who had been accompanying the mistress all this time, growled in warning. “Oh, no luck again,” Davet shrugged. “But you can still ask me whatever you want.” I will help as much as I can. - I... am looking for a Gray Guardian named Alistair. - Oh, we know each other. It's nearby. Go northeast up the stairs. - How do I recognize him? Davet grinned at something. - Most likely, there will be a very angry magician nearby... Wait, don’t you... Elissa has already left. She went up in the indicated direction and immediately heard swearing. Someone's cheerful voice argued with the hoarse bass. She came closer and saw how a man in a red mage's robe, angry at the whole world, gave the young warrior a murderous look, and then turned around and quickly walked away, hitting Elissa with his shoulder on the way and cursing her. The girl looked after him for a while and blinked in surprise. Haven't talked to her like that before. “You know, even Mora has a good trait - he brings people together,” the fair-haired warrior smiled affably at her. Elissa blinked again, not sure if they were laughing at her or being serious. The situation unsettled her so much that she even forgot about her usual politeness. “You’re strange,” she said the first thought that came to her mind. “You know, you’re not the first woman to tell me this,” the warrior noted. - We haven’t met yet, have we? Wait, you're not a magician, I hope? “Ah... no,” answered Elissa, who was generally confused by this guy, and the conversation, and everyone she met here. - Okay, so I won’t get yelled at less today. However, the day is not over yet. Wait, was Duncan writing about you? Are you from Highever? New recruit? - Elissa nodded affirmatively, at least she understood this part of the conversation. “Sorry I didn’t recognize you, otherwise there are all sorts of people walking around here,” the warrior glanced sideways in the direction where the magician had gone. - Let me introduce myself, I am Alistair - Gray Warden. As the most junior member of the order, I will help you prepare for Initiation. - Dedication? - Didn’t Duncan tell you? I probably didn't have time. But this will have to wait, the battle will begin soon. Will you be participating? - Elissa nodded again. - Okay, I’ll show you where you can drop off your things, and then we’ll join the army. Listen... Elissa looked at Alistair blankly. He had a good-natured face, erect blond bangs, a wide chin overgrown with stubble, and kind light brown eyes that looked thoughtfully at Elissa. “I was wondering, why are there so few women in the Gray Wardens?” “I don’t know,” Elissa shrugged her shoulders in confusion, it seemed that she had lost the thread of the conversation again. - Would you like there to be more of them? - Would it be so terrible? It's not that I'm such a big procrastinator... look, don't look at me like that. Have you ever seen the creatures of darkness? - No. - When I first saw it, I was not prepared for how creepy they looked. Better prepare yourself mentally. “It doesn’t matter,” Elissa waved it off, she wanted to end this conversation as soon as possible and get down to business. “Well, I hope that after you see them, you’ll think the same way,” the Guardian shrugged. Alistair took Elissa to a small tent where she left all her bags. At the exit, two other Guardian Recruits were already waiting for them. One of them was a large knight with small brown eyes and large, slightly protruding ears, and he carried a huge two-handed sword. The second recruit turned out to be the nosy Davet, already familiar to Elissa, with a bow on his back. “I knew it was you,” he stated. - Who would have thought? - I'm sorry? - Elissa raised an eyebrow. - Oh, Sir Knight and I made a bet on who the third recruit would be, and it seems that we both lost the bet. “My name is Sir Jory, I was a knight in the service of Earl Eamon,” the second introduced himself. - I'm Elissa... just Elissa. Very nice. - I didn’t know that women were accepted into the Gray Wardens. “I’m a warrior just like you,” Cousland frowned. “What are you saying,” Jory waved his hands, “I don’t mind at all.” Apparently your skills impressed Duncan, and that's enough for me. “Then let’s hurry up,” Alistair intervened. - The sun has almost set, and all the squads will soon line up. Some of the Gray Wardens will fight on the right flank, but today we will go into battle with the main army. Duncan wanted it that way. Most of the army consisted of people, but elves and a few dwarves also contributed. Everyone had united to fight a common threat, and now they had to answer the call of darkness again.

Notes:

*The Battle of the River Dane in 8:99 of the Blessed Age was the decisive battle of the Fereldans against the Orlesian occupiers. Under the command of General Loghain and Rowan Gerrin, the bride of the future King Maric, Ferelden's forces defeated the superior forces of Orlais.

Today in the world of computer games there are only a few projects that are incredibly successful. Series such as The Elder Scrolls or Mass Effect are known even to those users who are not very keen on this genre. Also worth highlighting is the Dragon Age series, which offers gamers the deepest immersion into a superbly crafted game world. In it you will find a wide variety of enemies and allies with unusual abilities, as well as various sets of armor, weapons and other items that you can use in the future. In this article we will talk about what kind of armor there is in Dragon Age, using the example of the most popular game in the series - Origins.

Light armor

Naturally, your character can play the entire game in a shirt or in a robe if he chooses the path of a magician. However, in most cases, heroes need armor in Dragon Age. And even if you are not going to make a warrior out of your character, you may need at least a light set, since it can protect you from small damage, will not hamper your movements, and will also allow you not to invest in characteristics you don’t need, because in order to wear heavy ones armor, you need to pump up your strength. Why does a magician or archer need high strength indicators? In this game, the best leather armor is considered to be Wade's dragon skin armor. They are capable of reflecting almost thirteen units of damage, while giving you good resistance to fire. And if they are also excellent, then your resistance is doubled, and you also get additional units of agility. However, note that armor in Dragon Age is not limited to what the original version of the game offers you: the Awakening expansion, for example, adds new armor sets to the game.

Light armor in "Awakening"

This add-on adds several light armor at once - in Dragon Age the armor is already varied, but in this case you get access to much more powerful models. For example, you can get Blackblade armor, which gives your character a huge number of different bonuses, while providing protection much more solid than ordinary, even the best light armor. Accordingly, it is recommended to install the “Awakening” add-on, since in this case you can get more pleasure from the search, as well as from using different armor options. Dragon Age: Inquisition doesn't have as much variety in armor, but this episode of the game was released just recently, so you can expect additions that will expand your capabilities in the near future.

Medium armor

In Dragon Age, the best armor is the one that suits your character perfectly. After all, each type has its own special characteristics, so armor that has only one, but very important bonus for you, may be better for you than another armor that will have a dozen bonuses that are useless for your hero. For example, if we talk about medium armor, then, in fact, they provide only actual protection, since their bonus is a small minus to fatigue. But ancient elven armor, although it has a lower protection rate, still adds agility, physique, resistance to magic, and a chance to repel an attacking spell to your hero. In general, you need to make your choice wisely. Naturally, there are armor mods in Dragon Age: Origins, which can add even more options to the game, but it’s still worth considering the classic models, as well as those that appear when installing the official add-on.

Medium armor in "Awakening"

In Dragon Age: Inquisition, the best armor is naturally found among the original options. However, if we talk about Origins, here the models from the add-on still have an advantage over the original models - in most cases they have better protection indicators, as well as a more extensive effect of bonuses. As an example, you can take one of the best examples of medium armor from the add-on - the armor of the legionnaire-reconnaissance. She has almost 18 units of defense, but at the same time she also adds points of agility, endurance and attack to your character. It is also worth noting that this armor reduces the character's resistance to cold due to the fact that it simultaneously increases resistance to fire. This is pretty high-quality armor in Dragon Age - the armor of the gray guards, of course, is much more impressive, but among the average sets you are unlikely to find better.

Heavy armor

If we talk about heavy armor, then here you definitely need to pay attention to the ceremonial armor, as it guarantees you a fairly high level of protection. But that’s not all - you will also receive a number of bonuses from use, and only one negative among them will be the loss of three defense points. But you will gain psychological resistance to spells, and also increase your chances of repelling an attack from a long distance.

Heavy armor in "Awakening"

Installing the "Awakening" add-on guarantees a gamer who has chosen the path of a warrior or any other class that uses heavy armor a very good addition to his armor collection. The fact is that you will have access to the Stormrunner armor, which is considered one of the most powerful in the game. Its protection rate is almost twice that of the ceremonial armor that was described earlier. But if that armor gave you only a couple of bonuses and even imposed one penalty, then in this case everything is much more impressive. You get an increase in armor, agility, defense, and also greatly increase your resistance to electricity spells. Moreover, when wearing this armor, your stamina in battle is restored much faster. As you can see, this armor can bring you a lot of usefulness on the battlefield, so you should definitely find it in the Vigil Tower of Turnoblov Manor.

Massive armor

In most RPGs, armor ends at heavy, but in Dragon Age things are a little different. The fact is that there is another section here, which is called “massive armor”. These are the heaviest and most powerful samples, which require an incredibly high level of strength, but also protect you from an impressive amount of damage. For example, the Legion of the Dead armor has a defense value of almost 32 units - for comparison, the previous armor, which is one of the most powerful in the game, only has about 27 units. But this protection indicator does not remain “naked”, that is, you also receive several bonuses. Among them is an increase in protection indicators, and when collecting a full set of armor, there is also a decrease in the level of fatigue, which is very important in the case of massive armor.

Massive armor from "Awakening"

Well, it's time to talk about the most powerful armor existing in the game. As you can already understand, to access it you will need the Awakening add-on - once you install it, you will have two options for obtaining this armor. You can kill the First in the Shadows of the Black Swamps quest, and you can also get it in a chest after the Rip in the Veil quest. Why is this armor so good? First of all, it has the maximum protection rate among all other types of armor - 39 units. It has three holes for inserting enchanted stones, but even without them, this armor guarantees you some pretty good bonuses. You will receive an increase in physique, health will be restored faster in battle, you will also have an increase in almost all primary and secondary skills, you will get a chance to dodge projectiles fired from a distance, as well as a certain level of resistance and an increase in the chance of dealing critical damage. This is the kind of armor you can get in the game, and then you definitely won’t need other models.

Armor mods

As you can see, there is an incredibly huge variety of different armor in this game. However, gamers create modifications that allow you to expand your range even further. Naturally, these are unofficial mods, so you can safely ignore them if you already have enough armor. However, for example, in the case of Dragon Age 2, armor mods can come in handy, since there are not as many types there as in Origins.
